On 6 September 2025, close to 1,500 participants gathered at One Marina Boulevard for the NTUC SG60 Solidarity Walk – an event that marked Singapore’s 60th year of independence and the strength of the Labour Movement. GO Events was proud to serve as the appointed organiser, bringing together union leaders, members, and families for a morning that blended unity, heritage, and celebration.
The 5km looped route, designed with the city’s most iconic landmarks in mind, gave participants a chance to walk through Singapore’s history while looking forward to its future. The start and end point at One Marina Boulevard became a hub of activity, complete with a stage platform, LED wall, fringe activities, mascot appearances, and simple but meaningful refreshment areas.
Flawless logistics, meaningful storytelling
Mass participation events of this scale demand precision. From registration and wristband tracking to goodie bag management and on-ground crowd flow, every touchpoint had to be seamless. At the same time, the event wasn’t just about logistics – it was about story. Together with NTUC, we highlighted Singapore’s progress and the contributions of workers across six decades, turning the walk into a living symbol of solidarity.

Working closely with the NTUC team, GO ensured tight alignment across stakeholders. Clear updates, real-time adjustments, and disciplined Asana tracking kept the project on course despite multiple moving parts.

The SG60 Solidarity Walk was more than a community event – it was a moment of national significance. To be entrusted with this milestone celebration was both a responsibility and an honour. GO’s role was to ensure that every participant, from VIP guests to first-time walkers, felt the pride of being part of Singapore’s 60-year journey.
