At Get Out! Events, we’re always looking for new programmes to offer our corporate clients regardless of their group size. In recent months, we’ve been receiving so many enquiries for small-group team building sessions that my team has relentlessly been on the lookout to curate the newest and most interesting activities out there today.
Our latest curation is a Japanese Nagomi Art workshop using Soft Pastel. Soft Pastel is a type of art material that create warm and gentle tones in a piece of art. Japanese Nagomi Art creates a transparent and gentle artwork through the use of simple techniques, using our fingers and soft pastels. Anyone can create a beautiful art piece of their own, regardless of art background. In the process of creation, one discovers amazing creativity in self and uplifted emotions and minds, harmonized the soul, Increased self awareness, self discovery, self confidence.

About the Artist – Instructor – Ms Alena Chow
Alena is certified as Advanced Instructor in Pastel Nagomi Art, by Japan Pastel Hope Art Association and received her Diploma in Pastel Nagomi in April 2018. She started her Art journey in August 2017.
Alena is a trained Process Faciliator and Meeting strategist in delivering ‘Out of the box’ meeting solutions that Engage, Click and Connect with the Audience at Events and Meetings. The aim to achieve desired meetings and events outcomes. She has a vast experience of working with people from all parts of the world and cultures in Europe, USA and Asia.
Incorporating Pastel Nagomi Art as a tool in her engagement with her business clients at team building events, Training and exercises, she aims to bring out the creative thinking of each person, harmonising both our Internal and External voices within self. She is a strong believer and educator in helping individuals in Self Confidence, Self Worth and Self Values.
Alena also holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Marketing, and Diploma in Computer Studies.
Her personable and calm character coupled with her willingness to go the extra mile for her clients, makes her an effective coach to help teams within companies become better communicators and team players.
