Interview Series – Cynthia Koh 1

In this interview series, we interviewed Cynthia Koh on how she’s doing to cope with this work from home period. The intent is for these to be fun, enlightening and entertaining!

ASL, please!
Cynthia Koh: Female, 25, Punggol

What are some things you must have when working from home?
Cynthia Koh: Fresh fruits and nuts, big water bottle, nice music, eye drops (very important)

How do you separate your personal time from working time now that you are working from home?Cynthia Koh: I have a clear demarcation of the end of my day by the reminder from the fitness app I downloaded. It’s set to remind me for my daily work out at 19:00. So that kinda marks the end of the day for me. If there are nothing urgent or odd hour conference calls, I will end my day by working out once the reminder pops up.  It will then be my personal time after that.

Given a choice, do you prefer working from home or working in an office?
Cynthia Koh: Because I have very recently changed my job (I was 1.5 weeks old on the job when the full WFH was implemented in mid-March), I thought it was very challenging to WFH. Eventually I picked things up and eased into the WFH routine. There are days that I prefer to be working in my office but now it doesn’t really make a difference for me.
